So, let's get down to business. Quite frankly, the most important thing going on right now is the fact that Sara is now 37 weeks, 2 days, 14 hours, 32 minutes, and 17 seconds pregnant! In other words, she could officially give birth any day now. The doctor told us that anything after the 37 week mark is considered safe. At her last appointment, she was dilated to a 2 and was about 50% effaced. While those numbers give us hope that she may deliver a bit earlier than her due date of July 31, we know that pregnant human bodies have minds of their own and don't really care that it's been nearly 100 degrees for the past 6 weeks! Sara has the first of her weekly appointments this Thursday and we hope to see some further progression.
For all those who may not know, we are having a boy. We have decided to name him Cameron Scott and cannot wait to meet him. Besides being chubby and healthy, Sara's only requirement is that he has a lot of hair. To tell you the truth, I'm actually a bit scared she will disown him if he doesn't! So, please join me in my prayers for hair on this kid's head! Please enjoy the fun pictures of our little Cam. Our plans are to continue posting on a regular basis, and not necessarily all about the baby, so stay tuned for more!

Welcome to the blogosphere! I hoped my boys would have hair. What they ended up with was "old man hair" nice amount of silky hair around the sides and the back with NOTHING up top. It took Alex nearly two years to grow a decent amount of hair on the top of his head. So, um, good luck with that :)
