Have I done something? Are you mad at me? I cannot seem to upload any pictures. I have tried 4 different computers with no success.
Was it something I said?
I hope you decide to forgive me and let me journal my past few weeks.

Earring Party

I have mentioned before that my mother-in-law and I have been making earrings.

We are having our first party this week!!

Wednesday: February 10th

Time: 6-8pm

18 months

Oh, Look at that face. I cannot believe my little munchkin is a year and a half. How fast time has flown.
I have pretty much dreaded this post. I hate thinking that he is getting older and older, and that soon I'm really going to have to start thinking about having another. I am so not ready, but don't want my kids to be too far apart. Maybe I will only have Cam. Sounds good to me! He is so perfect for me, I don't need another baby to ruin my lovely thoughts.

I wanted to write down some things about him, more for my sake than for anyone elses. I want to remember these cute, fun, little things he does that makes him...Cam.

*He loves, loves older women. He is somewhat shy around the young girls, but you walk by an older woman old at the store and he is screaming half way down the isle, "HI, HI, HI"!!! He loves it even more when they say hi back. As we pass, it's now, "BYE, BYE, BYE"!!

*Ever since he started walking, a week before his 14 month birthday, he does this hilarious arm swing. It especially shows when he is just strolling around happy, or going to pick something up that he is excited about. It swings so high and hard. The funny thing is that it's just one arm. The other one is held steady at his side while the other swings back and forth.

*He LOVES doing anything to help. He loves doing laundry, always helping switching the loads. He pretends to fold; transferring the clothes from basket to basket.
Whenever we get back from the store, he has to have a bag to carry in. I have made the mistake of giving the light bag, the one with the bread. Needless to say, we had pancakes when we got back in. Still, he helped and he was proud.

*He is a little ham. He loves the camera and is always willing to say "Cheeeeeese" to anything that half way resembles a camera. It's just hard to get him to be still long enough to get the shot.

*He loves to explore. He is so adventurous and always happy to try new things. There is just no fear in this little boy. Well, unless you are changing his diaper at church or in a public restroom and he has to lay on the changing table. He gets really nervous.

*He is so good at speaking Spanish now. He has been learning words here and there and is so good at repeating all of them.

*One of his favorite toys to play with is his Little People farm. He loves pulling out all the animals, kisses each of them, then carefully places them in the barn. Once he has each animal inside, he has to make sure that all the barn doors are securely closed. He is pretty good at making the farm animal noises too.

*He is so gentle and affectionate. He loves cuddles in the morning or after a nap. He will kiss just about anyone. We bring him in the bed with us when he wakes up to cuddle and play and he will rub our arms, one at a time, and hold our "manos".

*He loves to read. He can sit and read book after book after book. Sometimes even the same book 10 times.

*Scott taught him to say "Pee yeeeeuuu" when something is stinky. He says it when you change his diaper, pretend to smell your feet, walk into the bathroom after you get out, and pretty much anything else that really stinks.

*Cam has some killer dance moves. I've posted about it before ,but he really does have rhythm for a little boy.

This list could go on and on, I want to remember everything.

Cam, I am so in love with you . I don't know what I ever did to deserve you. I am so grateful for your sweet disposition and loving personality. Thank you for being so perfect for our family. I adore and love you with all my heart.

In no particular order...

Vacuum storage bags.
5 bins=3 airtight bags
I have been wanting to go through all of Cam's old clothes and store them differently for a while now. We have a small little storage closet and he had 5 bins in it. I can't get rid of a lot of them because they have such good memories attached, so I bought these bags and am so glad I did. I even did my wedding dress. I can store it under my bed, flat and out of the way!

Keva Keva...Oh my.

This is my absolute favorite smoothie place ever. When Scott and I lived in Salt Lake, this was my favorite treat to get when we were in Davis county. Now that we live less than a mile, it is no longer a treat, but an every week occurrence if I am lucky! Haven't had one? Try Sunset Soother with coconut extract. You will NEVER go to that other lame place, J**** Juice! (yes that is a curse word in our house.)

Making earrings.
My mom got me a great set of tools for Christmas to make jewelry and I have been obsessed ever since. I have taken a class with my mother-in-law and we hope to start selling on Etsy soon!
Want a pair? Just ask. We have a ton of beads!

The Wii Fit.

Scott got it for his birthday this year and we have had a blast with it. This is my favorite game, the obstacle course. I can't get past the stupid rolling logs yet, but will someday. However, I don't love that my Mii is now fat. I at least lied to myself when creating it before the Wii fit.

Reusable shopping bags.

I will admit, I am not the type of person to be all green and celebrate Earth Day everyday, but I sure do love these bags. I love that you can stuff so many things in them and still only need to carry 1 bag. It saves my arms for sure. Only problem, I need to remember to actually TAKE them to the store with me!

Simply Calphalon.

The title says it all...Simply...Wonderful. This was one of my gifts for Christmas and I have thoroughly enjoyed them. They cook amazing; I'm pretty much Rachel Ray now. I will hand wash these pots as long as they promise to never need cooking spray or leave me.Hearing Cam speak Spanish.

Scott has done so well lately speaking Spanish to Cam. There are a few words that Cam will only say in Spanish. It is the cutest thing in the world to hear his little voice say the words.

Here is his list: mano, pie, mas, boca, ojo, nariz, musica, hola, adios (my fav), vamos and rojo.

Anything on HGTV.

Scott's mom got him a year's worth of Dish Network for his birthday. Besides his sports channels, we basically always have it on HGTV. My First House, Renters, My House is Worth What? Sell This House, House Hunters....LOVE them all!!!

Sunday Morning on CBS.

I love all of the stories on this show. I am so glad church is at 11 now and I am no longer distracted with getting ready while the show is on. Their stories are always fun and interesting...Watch it! 8 am channel 2.

Texting.

Can you read the text in this picture? I found it on google and was cracking up.

I would always go over on my texts each month, so we upgraded and I now have 1000 each month. I try so hard to reach that number! Unfortunately, I would prefer texting rather than talking on the phone, partly because I am on the phone ALL day at work. I am safe though, and never ever text while driving.

The Children's Place.
I love shopping here. I love the great deals they have. I used to think they were too expensive, but, thanks to Scott's aunt, Erin, I now know the truth. I got Cam this cute little church outfit for less than 10 bucks. They just had an extra 50% off their clearance items too, so I got a pair of pants for $3.50 and some shirts for $3.00!!

Drop it like it's hot

I promise we did not teach Cam how to "drop it". He just started doing it this morning to a commerical, and I had to get it on video.

He is a good little dancer boy. He has such good rhythm, it is amazing to watch if you ask me! He takes after his mommy for sure. All my girlfriends in MI, please confirm this! : )

Whenever he hears any music he is bouncing and wiggling around. It is the funniest when we are at a store that plays loud music.

Sleeping Beauty

Oh...I mean Prince!
This is how Cam has been found recently when he is napping. He puts his little legs through the crib and rests them on the bumper pad. There have been times we have walked in to get him after he is awake and talking, and he is still in the position. Just looking around, talking, playing. It is so cute!

I can't believe he is going to be 18 months in a couple weeks. I am so proud of him and love everything about him. He is not my "baby" anymore. He has gotten so tall. When I get home from work and pick him up it feels like he has gained 5 pounds since I held him last. Just heartbreaking!!

I can't believe I am posting this picture. Can you all believe this is what we both looked like when we first met?? It is pretty depressing to me. HAHAAAHAAHA
Happy Birthday my love. You are the most amazing person I know. Thank you for being such a good husband and even better father. Cam and I are lucky to have you. You are such a perfect fit for me, I can't imagine my life without you.
